The Green Library is excited to welcome Mr. Danny O'Flaherty to St. Mark's. He will perform his Irish ballads on Monday, March 3rd from 8:50a-9:45a for MS and 11:45a-12:30p for LS, with visits to classes throughout the day. Please see the library's webpage and flyer for details.

New British Library report released this month on Information Behaviors of the Researcher of the Future. Available here:

 

 

Eoin Colfer, author of the Artemis Fowl series, appeared at St. Mark's in Decherd Performance Hall, January 20, 2008, 3pm. The library hosted a special reception for the author afterwards.

St. Mark's Literary Festival, January 11th, 2008 -

The St. Mark's Literary Festival is an annual event hosted by students for students. WIth noted writers and literary artis from various fields, this one-day Festival is intended to expose students not only to the craft of writing, but also to the career options that are available in the literary realm. The event includes class visits a writing contest, and individual conferences with the visiting writers.
